WELCOME TO THE TEXTURE MAPPING DEMO



This demonstration displays terrain data (a surface)
with a texture overlay. The texture used is a satellite
photograph of the terrain.

You can rotate the surface by positioning the mouse
in the draw widget, holding down the left mouse button,
and dragging the mouse.

MENU OPTIONS
------------

File Menu:
    Select "Quit" to exit the demonstration.

Options Menu:
    Select "Surface only" to display only the terrain
    data as a wire-frame surface.

    Select "Surface with texture" to display the image
    data overlay on top of the terrain data.

    Select "Reset" to restore the surface to its initial
    orientation.

FEATURES OF THE TEXTURE MAPPING DEMO
------------------------------------

 <<ZOOM Slider>>
    Adjust this slider to translate the surface towards
    or away from you. The translation appears as if you
    had "zoomed" in or out.

 <<HEIGHT Slider>>
    Adjust this slider to change the height of the surface
    in relation to its width. This allows you to exaggerate
    the vertical dimension.
